Palace Digital
Studios (PDS) offers Hi-Definition and Standard
Definition audio and video production and post-production
services, computer graphics design and animation and
multimedia production services to the broadcasting/cable,
advertising, and organizational communications industries. PDS recently completed
extensive renovations to convert its theater into a
working soundstage. Over the last twenty years, Palace
Digital Studios has earned its well deserved
reputation as a leading purveyor of high end production
and post production services.
The
post-production business is equipment intensive. Palace
Digital Studios continues to be the first
to offer new technologies in this regional market. Its
current equipment investments include (5) HD and SD
linear and non-linear editing suites, (2) audio rooms,
AfterEffects 2D, Maya and Softimage 3D computer design
and animation, new media production suite featuring
CD and DVD authoring and duplication, as well as facilities
for NTSC video duplication in multiple formats and standards
conversions. Palace Digital
Studios provides high density library storage
of client's proprietary masters, and trafficking and
shipping services to customers all over the globe. |

Editorial
Services: Our Staff
Our staff of extremely dedicated and talented
editors have over 25 years experience cutting both long
and short form programming. From basic show formatting
using cuts and dissolves to projects requiring complex
audio editing and special effects creation and graphics
compositing, our editors' technical proficiency and
creative skills allow the producer to consistently deliver
the highest quality product on time and on budget. Our
technical staff's careful attention to routine maintenance
and highly developed troubleshooting skills, ensure
practically zero equipment downtime.

Final
Cut Pro HD and SD Editorial
We offer two Final Cut Pro suites running on an XSan server supported by a wide variety of third party software and hardware peripherals. The suites are configured for ultimate flexibility, supporting HDV, DVCPro HD and Sony HD Cam, and offering complete HD and SD monitoring. Our FCP suites provide the producer a smart workflow process for SD offline to HD online including color correction, digital effects and HD output for broadcast delivery.

Avid
Editorial
Our three Avid Symphony suites running on a Unity server provide generous record and storage capabilities to meet any programming and creative challenge. Our Avid suites provide the producer ultimate decision making flexibility in the most cost effective environment. The suites are available for long term series production as well as for by the hour daily booking.

Graphic
Design, Animation & EFX
The Palace Design Group provides a wide range of broadcast design and animation services including station ID packages, show opens, promos, billboards and interstitial graphics. Utilizing Maya and Softimage 3D computer animation, AfterEffects 2D computer animation, and Digital Compositing, our Designer/Animators provide design driven solutions from initial storyboard conception to final edited master. Under the leadership of award-winning Executive Producers/Creative Directors with the flexibility of in-house project management, state-of-the-art technical facilities, and a staff of talented designer/animators, the Palace Design Group offers a complete spectrum of styles and approaches to meet the many challenges of creating moving graphics.

Voice
Over Record, Edit & Mix
Our Industrial Acoustics voice over record booth features the finest Neumann record mike and can comfortably accommodate up to two talent simultaneously. We provide world-class audio post services, including VO talent casting, utilizing the best of Fairlight, Neve and ProTools systems and technologies. Our staff of award-winning Mix/Engineers have over 25 years experience mixing corporate television and local, regional and national radio and TV spots, promos, shows and specials.
Sound
Design and Scoring
Under the Palace roof we offer a 5,000 CD music and effects library (thousands of cuts of music at the producer's fingertips) readily provided by our talented and experienced Sound Design staff. In addition to our Sound Design services, we offer award-winning original music composition and scoring.
Ancillary
Services
Fiber in and out of our South Norwalk location
provides the producer with utmost flexibility at competitive
pricing. In addition to our transmission services, we
provide an extensive array of support services in-house
to meet the most demanding project needs. Whether it
be complicated duplication orders, multiple media fulfillment

Duplication
We facilitate both small and large quantities of video, CD, and DVD duplication in almost every format available. In addition to multi-format straight duplication, we offer bump-ups, digital clones and timecode burn-ins. Standards
Conversion
Under the Palace roof, we offer PAL DBeta, PAL BetaSP and PAL VHS standards conversions. Our standards converter features digital image enhancement, frame-based recursive adaptive noise reduction, 4-field/4-line interpolation, infinite window time base correction with full proc-amp controls.
Quick turnaround, stringent quality control processes and competitive pricing ensures clients satisfaction on every NTSC duplication and standards conversion project.

Studio and Remote
Studio
Our soundstage is equipped with hard cyc, motorized lighting grid, full complement of lighting instruments, grip gear and expendables. Producers can bring in their own equipment or Palace Digital Studios will be happy to provide crew and gear for any production..large or small. Our extremely flexible shooting space is an ideal venue for a network television show or corporate event.

Palace Digital Studios provides total production packages for HD & SD video shoots. We have over 25 years experience producing and directing film and television productions throughout the continental US, Canada, Europe and Asia. From a simple talking head shoot to high end commercial filmmaking, we provide the Producer a total production solution.
