Norwalk Filmmaker Chris Campbell Headlines First Institute for International Film Finance Meeting in Connecticut
—CEO of Palace Digital Studios Selected To Speak At Business of Film and Financing Grassroots Meeting—
South Norwalk, CT— Area filmmakers as well as local entrepreneurs and financiers are invited to hear Palace Digital Studios CEO Chris Campbell speak on the business of film financing at the Institute for International Film Finance (IIFF) meeting to be held on September 6 from 6 p.m. to 10 p.m. at Norwalk’s Palace Digital Studios on North Main Street. This is the first International Film Finance meeting to be held in Connecticut.
The grassroots community gathering is designed to provide unbiased insight and education about the business of film and film financing as well as foster relationships between attending professionals. The meeting will include insightful presentations and speeches by a powerful roster of topical speakers and inspiring discussions focused on networking.
Campbell, a resident of South Norwalk (SoNo), is an award-winning film and television writer, producer, and director, as well as a successful business entrepreneur. Over the last 25 years, Campbell has produced work in broadcast and corporate media, as well as children's entertainment. He also founded Palace Production Center, located in the historic Palace Theater in SoNo. Campbell holds a Doctorate in Communications, Computing and Information Technology from Columbia University in New York.
Palace Production Center (www.palaceproductioncenter.com) owns and operates Palace Digital Studios and Praxis Media, Inc., and also has offices in the Tribeca Film Center in Manhattan. Campbell is also a managing partner in Rabbit Ears Entertainment, LLC, an award-winning children's and family publishing company; and Docere Palace Studios, a non-fiction television production company.
Palace Digital Studios provides audio and video production and post production, computer graphic design and animation, and multimedia production services to the area’s top advertising agencies, broadcast and cable TV networks, corporations and independent producers.
